Shadow Remains
Today, I watched a video called A Shadow Remains by Phillip Toledano on Mediastorm. The video explores how people deal with the deaths of their family members. Family deaths has become an important issue in our culture due to the high number of deaths in today's world. Death is irreplaceable. Once people die we cannot bring them back.
In this video, Toledano shows how the death of a family member can change a persons life. A Shadow Remains shows images of how people grow up and when there gone everything is different.During the film the filmmaker was saying how your life can change in a blink of an eye. He was also saying that when there gone everything is not the same your life and your views on the world change.
To me this video is important because I lost someone who is very important to me.My dad died on October,17,2007 from cancer. Losing my father was like losing a part me of that can never be replaced. This videos uncovers the feelings that many people who lose a loved one have but they dont know how to express it. It shows how at one moment in your life you can be happy but that happiness can just change almost overnight. Death is a fact of life but still painful.
Feedback On Film Proposal

Today our team, Triple A Productions, received feedback from filmmaker Kouross Esmail. Kouross is the director of Yo Soy Army. We presented our film proposal for our film, Losing a Parent, to him. He said that our film proposal was very good and that our topic was interesting. The only advice that he gave us was that we need to come up with questions that we are going to ask each other for our interviews. Some of the questions that we came up with are:
- How did this event impact your lives?
- How did this event happen?
- How did you feel?
- How did you deal with this situation?
- If this event didn't happen how would your lives be different?
